Our client, a respected leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking at Technology Transfer Engineer to join their team. They are expanding, due to new drug development and approvals, and have asked us to identify a qualified Technology Transfer Engineer to oversee the transfer of new products from lab to manufacturing.
Our client is counting on this person to lead the transfer efforts and be their representative on-site at the manufacturing site, so we are really looking for a self-starter who enjoys the freedom to make decisions without being micro-managed. This person would be working in with the process development team to ensure successful production of the new drug.
The right person for this role will have previous experience with the operational oversight of the tech transfer of pharmaceutical or biotech products, preferably large molecule products. They must be highly organized and able to act as the liason between internal and external customer groups.
Requirements for this position:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in a Scientific or Engineering focused field
- Experience with technology transfer of pharmaceutical or bio-tech products
- Strong process development experience in a manufacturing (GMP) environment
